Two Dead After Fire on Vessel at Port of Houston, Texas

(Reuters) — Two crew members are dead and one injured after a fire on a vessel at Port of Houston, Texas, on Monday, according to local media reports.

The fire has been extinguished, the reports said, adding that the blaze happened in the control room of a vessel at the Barbours Cut Terminal.

Port Houston, which owns and operates the eight public facilities along the 52-mile (84 km) Houston Ship Channel, was not immediately available to comment.
