Oilfield Water Logistics Completes Delaware Basin Project

Oilfield Water Logistics (OWL) said it has completed its Hat Connection pipeline project and broken ground on an 11-mile extension of its Red Hills Water Gathering System pipeline into Loving County, Texas.  The projects will enhance disposal capacity and re-use capabilities across its network of pipelines and disposal wells, the company said, while enabling producers to optimize volume flows.

OWL’s Hat Connection project links more than 200 miles of water pipeline gathering, re-use and disposal across the Northern Delaware Basin in Lea County, N.M.

In addition to its Red Hills expansion, OWL said it has spud the Titan saltwater disposal well in Loving County and will tie it to the company’s produced water pipeline network upon construction.

Dallas-based OWL said it has secured two new long-term contracts around its Delaware Basin projects.  The company said it also has signed two disposal agreements in the Powder River Basin, where it is expanding its Thunder Basin facility in Converse County.
