Heath Consultants Incorporated has announced its CEO, Graham Midgley, will retire at the end of November, 2016.  Jeffrey M. Tuttle, currently General Manager for Greer Commission of Public Works and current Heath Board of Directors member, will succeed Midgley as Chief Executive Officer.

Tuttle was selected after an extensive search by the company’s board of directors and supported by President, Carolyn Heath Haag. The company was seeking a CEO that would embrace a third generation family-owned business, in addition to its new status as a nationally certified Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance.

Tuttle has worked in various capacities within the utilities sector over the last 33 years. He served most recently as General Manager for Greer Commission of Public Works since 2014 where he directed the company’s day-to-day operations and long-term direction of all utility operations.

Prior to joining Greer CPW,  Tuttle was Vice President and Principal, Gas Utility Services for G2 Integrated Solutions, where he was responsible for expanding G2’s presence and services provided to natural gas utilities throughout the United States. From 2002 to early 2013, he worked for CPS Energy and served as the Vice President for CPS Energy’s Gas Business Unit in San Antonio, Texas, serving over 330,000 customers. During his tenure, the gas unit consistently ranked among the industry leaders in gas residential customer satisfaction, safety, response times to odor complaints, and financial expense metrics. Tuttle also enjoyed a successful tenure with Consumers Energy and CMS Energy in Michigan from 1983 to 2002.

Tuttle is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Municipal Power Agency (PMPA), American Public Gas Association (APGA), Blue Ridge Scouting Council, and Greer Relief.  From 2011 to 2012, he served as the Chairman of American Public Gas Association (APGA) and Texas Gas Association.
