Emerson

Emerson introduced the Fisher Fieldvue 4400 position transmitter for use in critical isolation valve applications, including chemical reactor feed shutdown, pressure swing absorption and other applications.

The HART-enabled valve position transmitters offer an easy to calibrate, and it incorporates a linkage-less design. Isolation valves are typically outfitted with open and closed limit switches that provide valve position feedback.

As compared to limit switches, it provides much higher reliability, along with valve diagnostics and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 capabilities. The position transmitter also includes limit switch outputs, so it can be retrofitted into an existing on/off switch circuit, while also taking advantage of the valve position information. www.Emerson.com/Fisher4400

Tnemec

Protective coatings manufacturer Tnemec, is proud to announce the launch of Series 108 and Series 109 ProBond, the newest epoxy penetrating sealers in the Tnemec family of coatings.

The Series 108 and 109 bring additional performance and convenience features to the marketplace, such as extended pot life and recoat windows, low-temperature cure, shipping and packaging advantages.

The products were designed to adhere to various substrates, including old finishes, and are frequently used as an overcoating primer.

Series 108 and 109 are solvent-free coatings applied at a low film thickness to reduce stress and weight on old tightly adhered coatings, creating a reliable foundation to accept high-performance epoxy and polyurethane finishes. www.tnemec.com

Flowserve

Flow control products and services provider Flowserve released Limitorque QX Series B (QXb) quarter-turn smart electric actuator, with connectivity with the Flowserve Flowsync App.

The actuator is designed for versatility in demanding applications in midstream, including choke, isolation and control valve applications. The device’s IP68-rated double-sealed enclosure and non-intrusive control knobs eliminate the risk of water or dust ingress for improved reliability.

Also, the design removes the need for a heater. Increased precision is also achieved with 0.1% positioning accuracy.

Oxford Flow

Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist, is launching two pilots, designed for use in high- and low-pressure environments in response to demand  among gas distribution networks (GDNs).

Designed for use with the company’s hydrogen-ready IM series gas regulators, the pilots will expand the market and offer the GDN operator a solution that can be used throughout its system, with differing pilots in each pressure area.

The PRX2H high-pressure pilot is now ready to be deployed with the PRX2L low-pressure pilot is scheduled for release in early 2024. The new range of pilots includes: PRX2L low pressure reducing pilot (13mbar-1.2 bar); PRX2 pressure reducing pilot (0.5-25 bar); PRX2H high pressure reducing pilot (17-70 bar); and PSX1 pressure sustaining/creep relief pilot (0.5-22 bar). www.oxford-flow.com

Esco Tool

Esco Tool offers a portable, inner-diameter clamping pipe beveller with a variable-speed electric motor for use on-site. The Prepzilla Millhog Clamping End Prep Tool features an electric motor with increased power and variable speeds from 9 to 31 rpm for continuous use and faster beveling.

Equipped with a three-blade holder that can bevel any angle, face and bore simultaneously, the tool can produce precision end preps on hard stainless steels and highly alloyed pipe. It only requires one mandrel and eight sets of clamps for its entire range.

The tool is designed for pipe ranging from a 1.575-inch inner diameter (ID) to an 8.62-inch outer-diameter (OD). It has motor specifications of 230 V, 3.08 hp (2,300 W) and 50 to 60 Hz, and it has dual-opposed tapered roller bearings to support the motor. www.escotool.com

Pettibone

Pettibone brings its X-Series telehandler lineup to the 15,000-pound lifting class for the first time with the Extendo 1544X. The added load capacity is idea for both construction and pipe yard applications. The telehandler is powered by a 117-horsepower Cummins QSF 3.8 Tier 4 Final turbo diesel engine.

Mounted onto a side pod, the engine offers easy accessibility to components and daily service checks, while still allowing for exceptional curbside visibility and a ground clearance of 19 inches.

The 30-gallon fuel tank provides ample volume for a full day’s work at 100% load. The telehandler comes standard with foam-filled tires. the 1544X offers a maximum lift height of 44 feet, a maximum forward reach of 29 feet, and a maximum load capacity of 15,000 pounds. www.gopettibone.com
