Regulatory Developments in Pipeline Cybersecurity

Since 2007, Congress has authorized TSA to issue prescriptive pipeline cybersecurity requirements, but until May of this year, TSA instead adopted a collaborative approach with industry using voluntary Pipeline Security Guidelines.
