T.D. Williamson, Inc. GMFL Inspection Tool

T.D. Williamson, Inc. recently announced the rollout of a 48-inch gas magnetic flux leakage (GMFL) inspection tool, engineered at the TDW facility in Salt Lake City, UT. The company said the new tool has had a field run on a natural gas line in Canada and its availability “reveals the sheer versatility of the services that TDW offers.” The tool is said to be uniquely designed to fill a niche in the ILI market because gas pipelines do not offer the lubricant advantages to MFL tools found in liquids pipelines.
