Shelli Myers of WhiteWater Midstream has been elected chair of the Texas Pipeline Association, becoming the first woman to lead the nation’s largest state pipeline trade association. Myers will serve a two-year term guiding advocacy and policy priorities for Texas’ intrastate pipeline sector.
Shelli Myers of WhiteWater Midstream has been elected chair of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA), becoming the first woman to lead the organization in its 42-year history. Myers will serve a two-year term guiding the association’s board, advocacy efforts, and public policy priorities for Texas’ intrastate pipeline sector.
The announcement was made during TPA’s annual meeting in Houston.
“Shelli’s regulatory background and industry experience make her exceptionally well-qualified to lead TPA,” said Thure Cannon, president of the Texas Pipeline Association. “She has been a trusted voice within our organization, and we welcome her leadership as we address the challenges and opportunities facing Texas’ pipeline network — the largest of any state in the nation.”
Myers is manager of regulatory compliance at WhiteWater Midstream, where she has spent more than five years overseeing compliance initiatives and supporting operational and governance objectives. She brings more than two decades of experience in the midstream energy sector, including prior roles focused on integrity management, legal and regulatory coordination, and pipeline compliance.
“I am truly honored to serve as chair of this outstanding organization,” Myers said. “TPA plays a critical role in advocating for safe, reliable, and efficient pipeline infrastructure across Texas. I look forward to working alongside our member companies and leadership team to advance policies that support energy reliability, economic growth, and regulatory certainty for our industry.”
TPA represents intrastate pipeline operators across Texas and serves as a key forum for regulatory engagement, safety policy, and infrastructure development in the state.
