SoCalGas Breaks Ground on First Renewable Natural Gas Pipeline

Southern California Gas Co. and CR&R Environmental have started construction of an 8-inch pipeline that will deliver renewable natural gas (RNG) into the SoCalGas distribution system for the first time. The 1.4-mile pipeline will connect an existing SoCalGas pipeline to a new CR&R facility in Perris, CA where an anaerobic digester will produce methane from organic waste.
