(P&GJ) — ABS has acquired RMC Global in a move aimed at expanding its industrial cybersecurity, operational risk and infrastructure resilience capabilities.
The acquisition combines RMC’s industrial cybersecurity and critical infrastructure expertise with ABS Consulting’s broader engineering, risk management and operational support services.
ABS said the deal is intended to strengthen its ability to support clients facing increasing cyber threats, regulatory pressure and operational risk across energy and industrial sectors.
ABS Chairman and CEO John McDonald said the combination will allow the company to provide more integrated risk and cybersecurity services as infrastructure systems become more complex and interconnected.
RMC specializes in industrial cybersecurity, resilience planning and critical infrastructure protection, with experience supporting energy, defense and industrial operations.
ABS Consulting CEO David Wechsler said demand for operational risk and cybersecurity services continues growing as operators work to address evolving threats and compliance requirements.
RMC President Vince Kuchar said the two companies share a focus on infrastructure protection and resilience in high-risk operating environments.
