TechnipFMC to Supply Flexible Pipe for Eni's Baleine Phase 3
TechnipFMC has secured a subsea contract from Eni for the Baleine Phase 3 offshore development in Côte d'Ivoire, supplying flexible flowlines and risers for one of West Africa's largest offshore energy projects.
(P&GJ) — TechnipFMC has been awarded a subsea contract by Eni to supply flexible flowlines and risers for the Baleine Phase 3 development offshore Côte d'Ivoire, supporting expansion of the country's largest offshore hydrocarbon discovery.
The company will design and manufacture flexible flowlines and risers to connect wells in approximately 3,940 feet (1,200 meters) of water to a new floating production unit.
TechnipFMC classifies the award as "significant," indicating a contract value between $75 million and $250 million. The award was included in the company's second-quarter 2026 inbound orders.
Jonathan Landes, president of Subsea at TechnipFMC, said the contract builds on the company's long-standing relationship with Eni.
"This award marks the continued expansion of our collaboration with Eni," Landes said.
The Baleine Phase 3 project is part of Eni's fast-track development to increase production from the offshore field.
Landes said TechnipFMC's flexible pipe technology will help support the project's accelerated schedule.
"We are excited to apply our expertise to provide a robust flexible pipe solution with schedule certainty in support of this fast-track project," he said.
