Aramco Awards Fluor Long-Term PMC Agreement for Capital Projects
Aramco has awarded Fluor a long-term Program Management Consultancy agreement to support engineering, project management and execution services across its global capital projects portfolio.
(P&GJ) — Aramco has selected Fluor Corp. as a Program Management Consultancy (PMC) contractor under a long-term agreement supporting the company's global capital projects portfolio, expanding Fluor's role across upstream, downstream, petrochemical and infrastructure developments.
The agreement enables Fluor to provide pre-front-end engineering and design (pre-FEED), FEED, engineering, project management, procurement oversight, construction management and program execution services for future projects.
Fluor said the long-term agreement supports Aramco's ongoing capital investment program by leveraging the company's global engineering expertise, local workforce and digital project delivery capabilities.
Pierre Bechelany, Fluor's Business Group President of Energy Solutions, said the agreement builds on the company's long-standing relationship with Aramco.
"We are honored to be selected by Aramco for this strategic long-term agreement, supporting the company's objectives to enhance energy security, operational efficiency and sustainable growth," Bechelany said.
Fluor has operated in Saudi Arabia since the 1940s and has supported Aramco on numerous energy and industrial projects from its office in Al Khobar.
"This award reflects Fluor's proven record in program management excellence, capital discipline and safe execution, as well as our deep understanding of Aramco's project delivery requirements," Bechelany said.
The agreement reinforces Fluor's long-term presence in the Kingdom and positions the company to compete for future engineering, procurement and project management work under Aramco's capital development program.
