T.D. Williamson Strengthens Australian Pipeline Services with Pro Pipe Integration
T.D. Williamson has expanded its Australian operations with the acquisition of Pro Pipe Services, enhancing its regional pipeline maintenance, hot tapping, and isolation capabilities. The move strengthens TDW’s ability to deliver faster mobilization, advanced technologies, and expanded support to pipeline operators across Australia.
T.D. Williamson (TDW) has expanded its footprint in Australia with the acquisition of the assets and operations of Pro Pipe Services, strengthening its ability to deliver advanced pipeline maintenance, hot tapping, and isolation services across the region.
Pro Pipe Services has long provided specialized intervention and isolation support to pipeline operators throughout Australia. Integrating the company’s operations and workforce into TDW will enhance local service capacity, accelerate mobilization timelines, and broaden access to TDW’s global technology portfolio—including inline inspection tools, pigging systems, and engineered repair solutions.
“This combination reflects our commitment to the Australian market and to delivering greater value, safety, and reliability to pipeline operators,” said Bob McGrew, TDW president and CEO. “Adding Pro Pipe’s capabilities and talented team strengthens our regional support and expands the technical solutions we can offer.”
Pro Pipe owners Joe Buttigieg and Dean Muscat said the move builds on a long-standing relationship with TDW and will give customers access to a more comprehensive suite of maintenance technologies.
The acquisition marks another step in TDW’s strategy to deepen regional presence and support pipeline operators with integrated, end-to-end integrity solutions.
