Forsite, Flyscan Partner on Pipeline Leak Detection Technology
Forsite and Flyscan have partnered to provide integrated pipeline leak detection, automated threat monitoring and geohazard management services for operators.
(P&GJ) — Forsite and Flyscan Systems have formed a partnership aimed at expanding pipeline leak detection and automated threat monitoring capabilities for energy operators.
The agreement combines Flyscan’s liquid leak detection hardware and software with Forsite’s aerial patrol and data management operations to create an integrated monitoring platform for pipeline systems.
The companies said the combined service will focus on liquid leak detection, geohazard monitoring, vegetation management and automated right-of-way threat detection. The system also includes cloud-based monitoring and pipeline intelligence software intended to improve response times and reduce line strike risks.
Forsite CEO Chris Havern said the partnership is designed to improve proactive leak detection and infrastructure threat prevention for pipeline operators.
Flyscan CEO Eric Bergeron said the agreement combines Flyscan’s sensing and artificial intelligence technology with Forsite’s aerial patrol expertise to provide a more integrated monitoring solution.
The companies said the partnership will also support early detection of leaks and operational threats across critical energy infrastructure systems.
Flyscan specializes in aerial leak detection and right-of-way monitoring using remote sensing and artificial intelligence technology, while Forsite provides geospatial intelligence, aerial LiDAR and infrastructure inspection services across North America.
