Emerson Launches Industrial AI Platform for Operations, Reliability
Emerson introduced the AspenTech AVA industrial AI platform, designed to help industrial operators improve reliability, optimize workflows and accelerate operational decision-making.
(P&GJ) — Emerson has launched a new industrial artificial intelligence platform aimed at helping operators improve decision-making, reliability and operational performance across industrial facilities.
The AspenTech AVA platform combines generative AI capabilities with industrial operational data and engineering models to support real-time operational analysis and workflow optimization.
According to Emerson, the platform is designed to help industrial companies accelerate AI adoption while integrating with existing automation and operational technology infrastructure.
The company said AVA uses the AspenTech Inmation Data Platform to organize operational data across cloud, edge and on-premise systems, allowing operators to access real-time operational insights and AI-assisted recommendations.
Claudio Fayad, chief technology officer for Emerson’s Aspen Technology business, said the platform is intended to help companies improve operational performance without disrupting existing processes.
AVA is initially launching with four operational optimization and decision-support applications focused on industrial workflows and reliability improvements.
Emerson said the platform is designed to support industrial sectors seeking to improve operational efficiency and provide AI-assisted guidance to employees managing increasingly complex operations.
