Elevation Midstream Plans New Colorado Crude Gathering System
Elevation Midstream launched a binding open season for a proposed DJ Basin crude gathering system connecting Arapahoe County production to delivery points in Weld County, Colorado.
(P&GJ) — Elevation Midstream has launched a binding open season supporting development of a proposed crude oil gathering system in Colorado’s Denver-Julesburg Basin.
The planned system would transport crude oil from receipt points in Arapahoe County to delivery points at the Platteville Complex and Lucerne Station in Weld County.
According to the company, the project will combine new pipeline construction with existing underutilized capacity on Elevation’s trunk line system. The gathering system is expected to enter service during the fourth quarter of 2026.
The proposed pipeline will operate as a common carrier liquids system and provide shippers an opportunity to secure long-term transportation capacity through binding transportation service agreements.
The open season began May 20 and is scheduled to close June 22.
Elevation Midstream, based in Denver, operates crude oil, natural gas and water infrastructure across the DJ Basin. The company said the project is intended to support continued production and transportation needs in the region.
