Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Stage 3 Train 6 Produces First LNG

Cheniere Energy said Train 6 of its Corpus Christi Stage 3 expansion has produced first LNG as the company moves closer to completing the Texas export project.

(Reuters) — Cheniere Energy said on May 19 that Train 6 of the Corpus Christi Stage 3 expansion produced its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) last week.

"Substantial completion still expected this summer," the largest LNG producer in the U.S. said in an email to Reuters.

The company's Stage 3 project at the Corpus Christi site consists of 7 Trains of which 6 are now online.
