Tallgrass Launches Open Season for Pony Express Pipeline Capacity

Tallgrass is offering shippers a new opportunity to secure transportation capacity on the Pony Express Pipeline through a limited-time open season program.

(P&GJ) — Tallgrass Pony Express Pipeline LLC has launched a 30-day binding open season for shippers seeking crude oil transportation capacity on the Pony Express Pipeline system.

The open season, which began June 8, allows prospective customers to secure incentive tariff rates using existing pipeline capacity from Pony Express origin points in Colorado.

Tallgrass said the program is intended to obtain long-term shipper commitments for crude oil transportation on the system.

Interested shippers can review the terms of the offering after executing a confidentiality agreement with the company.

The Pony Express Pipeline transports crude oil from the Denver-Julesburg Basin and other production areas to key refining and market hubs in the Midwest.

The open season will remain open for 30 days.
