Atar Capital Exits Pipeline Inspection Firm Frontier Integrity Solutions

Atar Capital has completed a management buyout exit of Frontier Integrity Solutions, a U.S. provider of pipeline inspection and integrity services supporting oil and gas infrastructure safety.

(P&GJ) — Atar Capital has completed the sale of Frontier Integrity Solutions through a management buyout, ending a nine-year ownership period that expanded the company’s role in U.S. pipeline inspection and integrity services.

The transaction transfers ownership of Frontier Integrity Solutions (FIS) to its management team, ensuring continuity of operations as demand grows for pipeline safety, inspection and quality-assurance services across the U.S. energy network.

“FIS exemplifies what Atar Capital seeks to achieve through impactful investing,” said Cyrus Nikou, founder and managing partner of Atar Capital. “Over the past nine years, we've worked alongside an exceptional management team to build a company that protects the critical infrastructure powering our nation. At a time when U.S. energy infrastructure has never been more important to our economic security and energy independence, FIS stands as a testament to what can be accomplished when operational excellence meets purpose-driven investment. We're incredibly proud of what we've built together and confident that FIS will continue to thrive under management’s ownership.”

Atar Capital acquired FIS from Furmanite America Inc. in December 2016. Since then, the company has expanded its workforce to nearly 800 certified inspectors and specialists, providing pipeline inspection, integrity and quality-assurance services to major energy operators across the United States.

Under Atar’s ownership, FIS implemented upgraded compliance and tracking systems, expanded its technical workforce and deepened relationships with midstream and energy infrastructure customers. The company said those changes strengthened its ability to support safe and reliable oil and gas pipeline operations nationwide.

“This transition represents an exciting new chapter for Frontier Integrity Solutions,” said Keyth Pengal, CEO of Frontier Integrity Solutions. “We're grateful to Cyrus and the Atar Capital team for their years of strategic guidance, operational expertise, and unwavering support — all of which allowed us to modernize our operations and expand our capabilities. As we enter this next phase, we're committed to maintaining the integrity of North America's critical pipeline infrastructure.”
