Endress+Hauser is expanding U.S. manufacturing and supply chain capacity to support growing data center power, cooling and water management infrastructure, amid rising AI-driven demand.
(P&GJ) — Endress+Hauser is expanding U.S. production capacity and supply chain capabilities to support growing data center power, cooling and water infrastructure demand.
The company said it has invested in 650,000 square feet of U.S. manufacturing space, along with workforce expansion and production efficiency initiatives, as data center operators scale to meet increasing digital and AI-driven demand.
“Data centers are growing faster, and becoming more complex, than at any time in history,” said Tremel Wright, Vice President Sales at Endress+Hauser. “Our investment strategy ensures that Endress+Hauser is not only keeping pace but helping shape what comes next. From US-produced instrumentation to support US data centers to engineered solutions and supply chain agility, we are fully committed to supporting the digital backbone of today and tomorrow.”
The company supplies measurement and automation technologies used in cooling systems, water management, environmental monitoring, and backup power infrastructure. Products include flow devices, radar and ultrasonic level sensors, pressure transmitters, temperature devices, and pH, conductivity and turbidity sensors.
Endress+Hauser said it ships annually more than:
-
250,000 electromagnetic flowmeters
-
350,000 pH sensors
-
500,000 temperature devices
-
600,000 pressure transmitters
The company has also expanded U.S. stocking programs and localized manufacturing to address shorter project timelines typical of hyperscale facilities.
Digital tools, including the Netilion cloud ecosystem and Heartbeat Technology diagnostics platform, are designed to help operators optimize cooling performance, water usage and system reliability.
“Data center operators are under unprecedented pressure to balance speed, efficiency and sustainability,” said Liza Kelso, National Business Development Manager for Data Centers at Endress+Hauser. “They’re asking for instrumentation and actionable insight. By pairing precise measurement technologies with digital diagnostics and real-time visibility tools, we’re helping customers make smarter decisions that directly support uptime, resource management and long-term resilience.”
The company said its expanded U.S. manufacturing footprint is aimed at strengthening supply chain resilience and supporting fast-track construction schedules in the data center sector.
