Worley, Bloomfire Partner to Deploy AI Knowledge Platform for Energy Infrastructure

Worley Consulting and Bloomfire have partnered to deploy an AI-powered knowledge platform aimed at improving decision-making and operational efficiency across energy and industrial infrastructure.

(P&GJ) — Worley Consulting has partnered with Bloomfire to deploy an artificial intelligence-powered knowledge platform aimed at improving information management and decision-making across energy, chemicals and resources projects.

The agreement will integrate Bloomfire’s enterprise intelligence platform into Worley’s digital offerings, targeting challenges tied to fragmented data, knowledge loss and operational risk in asset-intensive industries.

The platform is designed to centralize and organize company information, allowing operators to apply internal expertise more efficiently across project lifecycles, from development through operations.

Worley said the integration builds on its broader push to expand AI-enabled tools across project delivery and asset management.

“Industrial companies don’t lack data — they lack trusted, usable knowledge that can be used when making decisions,” said Fabricio Sousa, president of Worley Consulting. “We are integrating enterprise intelligence into customer workflows to help manage risk and improve performance.”

The system is structured around how industrial assets operate, rather than traditional data repositories, with the goal of improving access to relevant and reliable information for decision-makers.

Barry Walker, senior vice president of AI and machine learning at Worley Consulting, said the platform is intended to support knowledge retention and operational consistency.

“When customers see knowledge structured around how industrial assets operate, their immediate reaction is that they need it,” Walker said. “The platform helps preserve institutional knowledge and support more consistent decision-making across the asset lifecycle.”

Bloomfire said the partnership expands its reach into energy and industrial sectors through Worley’s global footprint.

“For organizations facing challenges such as knowledge loss and fragmented information, this partnership shows how enterprise intelligence can be applied at scale,” said Philip Brittan, CEO of Bloomfire.

The companies said the collaboration will focus on improving knowledge governance and supporting the use of AI in operational and project environments.
