Gazprom Completes Power of Siberia Maintenance, Maintains Gas Flows to China

Gazprom has completed scheduled maintenance on the Power of Siberia pipeline, with gas supplies to China continuing during the work period.

(P&GJ) — Gazprom has completed scheduled maintenance on its Power of Siberia pipeline, with natural gas deliveries to China continuing throughout the work period.

The maintenance took place from March 26 through April 3 and is part of routine servicing conducted twice a year under the long-term supply agreement between Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC). The work focused on inspection and upkeep of pipeline equipment and systems to support ongoing operations.

Despite the maintenance activity, gas flows along the eastern export route were maintained, underscoring the system’s operational reliability and importance in supplying Chinese markets.
