Energy Transfer’s Transwestern Pipeline has opened a binding season for its Desert Southwest Expansion, adding 1.5 Bcf/d of capacity to move Permian gas to Arizona and New Mexico by 2029.
(P&GJ) — Energy Transfer’s Transwestern Pipeline Company has launched a binding open season for its planned Desert Southwest Expansion Project, which will move natural gas from the Permian Basin to markets in New Mexico and Arizona.
The expansion will add at least 1.5 billion cubic feet per day of new capacity through a mix of large-diameter pipeline, compression, and metering facilities. Service would extend from receipt points in the Permian Basin to new and existing delivery points in the Desert Southwest.
