Germany to Offer New LNG Regasification Slots at Brunsbüttel and Wilhelmshaven

Germany’s DET will auction 30 short-term LNG regasification and storage slots at the Brunsbüttel and Wilhelmshaven terminals on Nov. 25–26, covering late 2025 through early 2027.

(P&GJ) — Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET) will auction remaining short-term regasification and LNG storage capacities at its Brunsbüttel, Wilhelmshaven 01, and Wilhelmshaven 02 terminals on Nov. 25–26, the company announced.

The auction will offer 30 updated slots for regasification, storage, and send-out services covering December 2025, Q1, Q2, and Q4 2026, and January 2027.

DET said additional capacities for the second half of 2026 at Brunsbüttel are expected to be marketed during Q1 2026.

The terminals form part of Germany’s growing LNG import network, developed to strengthen security of supply following the loss of Russian pipeline gas.
