Elevation Extends Open Season for DJ South Gathering Pipeline
Elevation Midstream has extended the open season for its DJ South Gathering crude pipeline, giving shippers until Jan. 15 to secure capacity on the planned system connecting Adams and Arapahoe Counties to key delivery points in Weld County. The project aims to boost crude gathering reliability across Colorado’s DJ Basin.
Elevation Midstream has extended the open season for shipper commitments on its proposed DJ South Gathering crude oil pipeline, giving producers an additional seven weeks to secure capacity.
The open season, which began Oct. 27, will now close on Jan. 15, 2026, according to the company. Binding commitments must be submitted through a transportation services agreement (TSA), available to interested parties upon signing a confidentiality agreement.
The planned pipeline would gather and transport crude oil from receipt points in Adams and Arapahoe Counties to delivery points at the Platteville Complex and Lucerne Station in Weld County, leveraging both new infrastructure and underutilized capacity on existing trunkline assets.
Elevation Midstream said the extension is intended to accommodate additional market interest in the project, which would expand crude gathering capacity across the Denver-Julesburg Basin.
Based in Denver, Elevation operates midstream systems for crude oil, natural gas, and water throughout the DJ Basin.
