Subsea7 Wins Offshore Egypt Contract for Pipeline, Umbilical Installation
Subsea7 has secured a contract offshore Egypt to install flexible pipelines and umbilicals for a subsea tie-back project, with offshore work expected to begin in 2026.
(P&GJ) — Subsea7 has been awarded a contract offshore Egypt for the engineering, procurement, commissioning, and installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals, and associated subsea components for a tie-back to existing infrastructure.
The company defines the contract as “sizeable,” with a value between $50 million and $150 million. Project management and engineering work will begin immediately at Subsea7’s offices in France, Portugal, and Egypt, with offshore activity scheduled to start in 2026.
