Kaztransoil Expands EU Presence to Support Oil Exports to Germany
Kazakhstan’s state pipeline operator Kaztransoil plans to open its first EU office in Poland as it works to stabilize crude oil exports to Germany via existing cross-border pipeline routes.
(Reuters) — Kazakhstan's state oil pipeline operator Kaztransoil will open its first representative office in the European Union, in Poland, to help ensure stable supplies of Kazakh oil to Germany, the company said on Wednesday.
The branch aims to support Kazakhstan’s exports to Germany, which transit through Russia’s Transneft pipeline system, Belarus and Poland.
Kaztransoil did not specify when the office will open.
Kazakhstan exported 225,000 metric tons of oil to Germany in November 2025, the same as in October, Kaztransoil said.
From January to November 2025, Kazakh shipments to Germany reached 1.91 million tons.
The country has lowered its forecast for oil exports to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline in 2025 to 2.0 million tons from 2.5 million tons.
In 2024, deliveries totaled 1.5 million tons.
