Belgium-UK Gas Interconnector Pipeline Reduces Capacity
12/1/2020
LONDON (Reuters) - The Interconnector gas pipeline will reduce capacity for immediate delivery flows from Belgium to Britain, effective Tuesday the operator said.
InterconnectorUK (IUK) said available technical capacity will be revised to 562 gigawatt hours per day (GWh/d) to ensure the efficient operation of equipment when booking commitments remain low.
"If, however, IUK has realised bookings exceeding 30% of its technical Belgium to Britain capacity, then available capacity will be offered up to our technical capacity of 803 GWh/d," it added.
