Open Season Held For Double H Pipeline Expansion

Hiland Crude completed an open season for commitments to expanded capacity of Hiland’s 488-mile Double H crude oil transportation system. The recently completed pipeline originates in the Bakken oil production areas near Dore, ND and Sydney, MT and terminates at Hiland’s tankage near Guernsey, WY.

Under the service offered, Hiland will deliver oil into connecting pipelines near Guernsey Interconnections, including the Tallgrass Pony Express Pipeline and other proposed interconnections. Initial start-up service on Double H Pipeline began in late December and monthly nominations were accepted in January.

The expansion would occur in phases with up to 45,000 bpd of interim capacity expected to be made available in the first half of 2015 to shippers with committed volumes. Full capacity expansion, including installation of additional pump facilities and pipe expansions, is expected to be completed by December 2016.
