Kim Backs Construction Of Trans-Korean Gas Pipeline

North Korean leader Kim Jung Il met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to discuss several issues including a proposed pipeline that would stretch 1,100 km, including a 700-km segment in North Korea, the Kremlin said. Medvedev said Russia could supply 10 Bcm of gas a year.
