Enogex Announces $215 Million In New Growth Investments

Enogex has agreed to acquire a 60-mile natural gas gathering system and another 30-mile system from Oxbow Midstream that are both located in the Texas-Oklahoma Granite Wash area.

As part of the deal, Cordillera Energy Partners has agreed to provide Enogex with long-term acreage dedication in the area served by the systems encompassing roughly 100,000 net acres.

Enogex plans to further expand its natural gas processing capacity by building the McClure processing plant, a 200 MMcf/d facility in northwestern Custer County, OK. The plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2013. Enogex will expand the capacity at its Wheeler, TX facility which is under construction from 120 MMcf/d to 200 MMcf/d. The initial 120 MMcf/d of Wheeler capacity is expected to come online in mid 2012 and the incremental 80 MMcf/d is expected to be completed by the end of 2012.

Combined with the new 200 MMcf/d South Canadian processing plant expected to come online shortly, the McClure and Wheeler plants will increase Enogex’s processing capacity to 1,563 MMcf/d by the end of 2013 from 963MMcf/d.
