Harvest to Build New Eagle Ford Crude Oil Pipeline

Harvest Pipeline Company is beginning the next expansion phase of the Arrowhead Pipeline to ship more crude oil from the Eagle Ford area.

“We have begun a project to build a new 25-mile pipeline from near Cotulla in LaSalle County, Texas,” said Steve Jacobs, president of Harvest Pipeline Company. “This new mainline lateral initially will tie in to our existing 140-mile Pearsall pipeline near Fowlerton and deliver oil to Corpus Christi. As production from the Eagle Ford increases, we will ultimately connect this line with a new mainline to be built to meet producers’ needs.”

Harvest recently completed the first phase of expansion of the Pearsall line. “Our expansion is continuing,” said Fred Muck, vice president of business development. “Work is underway to provide additional capacity, which will coincide with the operation of the new Cotulla line in the third quarter 2011.”

The new Cotulla line will be supported with volume commitments from large producers in LaSalle and Dimmit counties. “Harvest will continue to aggressively pursue line extensions and expansions to ensure timely market solutions for Eagle Ford producers,” said Jacobs.
