ConocoPhillips Boosting Investment In Alberta Oil Sands

ConocoPhillips Canada plans to invest $1.5 billion in oil sands assets in Alberta in 2011.

Nick Olds, senior vice president of ConocoPhillips Canada, said the company has five main assets in Alberta estimated to hold over 15 billion barrels of bitumen – Surmont, Christina Lake, Foster Creek, Clyden and Saleski.
