Context Labs, KPMG Partner on AI Carbon Management Platform

Context Labs and KPMG have formed a reseller agreement to expand AI-driven carbon management solutions, helping energy companies streamline emissions reporting and meet evolving regulations.

(P&GJ) — Context Labs has entered into a reseller agreement with KPMG LLP to expand deployment of AI-driven carbon management and emissions reporting solutions across the energy and industrial sectors.

Under the agreement, KPMG will offer Context Labs’ enterprise carbon management platform as part of its advisory services, combining consulting expertise with AI-based data infrastructure designed to support compliance and operational decision-making.

The platform converts operational data into asset-level emissions intelligence, enabling companies to generate audit-ready reports and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. The system is built to support sectors including energy, power generation, petrochemicals and data centers.

The partnership comes as operators face increasing pressure to comply with changing carbon and methane reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions, while also managing cost and operational complexity.

Context Labs said its platform is designed to reduce manual reporting processes and provide a consistent data foundation as regulations evolve, helping companies avoid rework and improve reporting timelines.

The companies also highlighted prior work with Williams, where the platform was used to support large-scale emissions reporting aligned with OGMP 2.0 standards, including data collection across thousands of assets and facilities.

"Context Labs is building the connective fabric for a new era of energy," said Dan Harple, founder and CEO of Context Labs. "By creating quantified emissions pathways across the value chain, we help companies prove the integrity of their energy, build trust with markets and regulators, and unlock opportunities for sustainable growth. This is about enabling every participant in the energy ecosystem to operate on transparency and trust."

"At KPMG, we empower clients to meet the growing demand for power through production of clean energy," said Maura Hodge, U.S. Sustainability Leader at KPMG LLP. "By teaming with Context Labs, we combine our industry knowledge and operationally grounded strategies to provide AI-driven climate insights that help clients improve transparency, increase market differentiation, meet standing sustainability goals, and drive shareholder value."

The agreement builds on KPMG’s existing investment in Context Labs and reflects broader industry demand for scalable, data-driven approaches to emissions tracking and carbon management.
