United Energy Acquires LNG, Midstream Assets in $31 Million Deal

United Energy has acquired Alkane’s LNG and midstream assets in a $31 million transaction that adds a Texas LNG production facility, logistics infrastructure and plans for future capacity expansion.

(P&GJ) — United Energy Corp. has acquired Alkane Modus Vis and certain assets from Alkane Midstream in a transaction valued at approximately $31 million, adding LNG production, logistics and distributed power assets to its growing energy infrastructure portfolio.

The acquisition includes a fully operational LNG production facility in Seminole, Texas, capable of producing 100,000 gallons per day, along with related LNG transportation, regasification and power generation assets. The deal also includes existing customer contracts and operating infrastructure serving industrial and energy markets across several states.

United said the acquired assets strengthen its ability to provide natural gas-based energy services to industrial customers, oilfield operators and emerging data center developments. The company expects the combined business to generate annualized 2026 revenue of $15 million to $20 million.

The Alkane operating team will remain in place following the transaction and continue managing LNG production, logistics and field operations. United also said it plans to pursue an additional 150,000-gpd expansion at the Seminole facility to meet growing demand from power generation, industrial users and other behind-the-meter energy applications.

The transaction became effective April 30 and was funded through a combination of cash, assumed debt, seller financing and equity consideration.
