Battalion Oil Expands Midstream Capacity, Lifts Gas Throughput by 20%
Battalion Oil increased gas throughput by more than 20% after midstream upgrades in the Permian. The added capacity is allowing higher flow rates from previously constrained wells.
(P&GJ) — Battalion Oil Corp. reported increased gas throughput following the completion of midstream upgrades at its Monument Draw central production facility in Ward County, Texas.
The company said production throughput rose more than 20% after project completion, supported by additional facility enhancements from its midstream partner. The added capacity has enabled higher flow rates from previously constrained wells, improving overall operational efficiency across the asset area.
Battalion noted the projects were completed ahead of schedule and approximately 8% under budget. The expanded infrastructure is allowing the company to process and bring additional volumes to market as activity increases in the Permian Basin.
Recent well performance also benefited from the increased capacity, with higher production rates supported by improved takeaway and processing capability.
