Subsea7 Wins IRM Contract for Sakarya Gas Field Offshore Turkey
(P&GJ) — Subsea7 has been awarded a contract by Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center AS (TP-OTC) to provide inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) services for the Sakarya gas field in the Black Sea, the company said on Dec. 30.
The project includes engineering and project management based in Subsea7’s Istanbul and Aberdeen offices, along with equipment supply and construction personnel onboard TP-OTC’s light construction vessel, Mukavemet. Operations are slated to take place in 2025 and 2026.
The contract is valued between $50 million and $150 million, according to Subsea7’s classification of a "sizeable" project.
