North Sea Midstream Partners Names Angela Fletcher as CEO
(P&GJ) — North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP) has appointed Angela Fletcher as its new chief executive officer (CEO), the company announced on Feb. 7.
Fletcher, who has served as NSMP’s chief commercial officer for the past year, takes over as the midstream operator continues efforts to support UK energy security and transition efforts.
NSMP owns nearly 600 km of North Sea gas pipelines, supplying up to a quarter of the UK’s gas demand. It operates sites in St. Fergus, Teesside, and Risavika, Norway, supporting over 1,000 jobs.
“Angela is the ideal leader to drive NSMP’s success as we build sustainable growth and support the energy transition,” said NSMP Chair Paul Warwick. “The board is pleased that Angela, who has been leading our commercial operations, will now be leading the company on the next phase of its journey.”
Fletcher has extensive experience in the energy sector, having held senior management and board-level positions. Before joining NSMP, she was chief commercial officer at Ancala Midstream Acquisitions, where she oversaw midstream infrastructure connecting UK and Norwegian fields.
“We have an excellent team at NSMP, and I am privileged to step into the CEO role as we continue supplying gas to grow the economy, heat homes, and power businesses while supporting the energy transition,” Fletcher said.
