Algeria’s Sonatrach Contains Fire at Alrar Gas Processing Complex

(Reuters) — Algeria's state oil and gas firm Sonatrach said late on Wednesday that a fire that erupted earlier on line number 1 of the Alrar gas processing complex in the province of Illizi had been contained.
The incident did not affect the firm's total oil production and shipments bound to national and international clients, Sonatrach said in a statement.
It added investigations were ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
