Pipe Layers for Every Application in the Oil And Gas Industry

A basic premise for today’s pipeline projects is that the ever increasing size of pipe diameters can be reliably installed with as few devices as possible. Liebherr steps up to this challenge with pipe layers that are available in a range of load classes and appropriate boom lengths.
The operator's cab meets the highest standards with integrated rollover protection and a roof window made of laminated safety glass. Emergency traveling uphill.
The stepless hydrostatic drive enables precise maneuvering - even with heavy loads on damp and sloping terrain. Thanks to the self-locking feature of the hydrostatic travel drive, Liebherr pipelayers come to an immediate standstill at all times, even when traveling uphill.
The special Liebherr boom system stabilizes heavy loads in any position. It also prevents unintentional folding and thus complete tipping of the pipelayer.

Another safety aspect for the operator is the visual and audible indication in and outside the cab of the load moment limitation at all times. If the machine is moving in the limit range, the system only permits movements that increase stability.
If the operator needs to lower the load quickly in an emergency, it is possible to switch the winch to freewheel.
All safety functions are precisely synchronized and ready for any critical situation.
