Inaugural Pipeline & Gas Journal Awards Winners Honored at In-Person Houston Gala
(P&GJ) — An elite group of midstream professionals gathered in Houston on Thursday evening to attend the inaugural Pipeline & Gas Journal Awards gala, which honored the midstream industry’s leading innovations and outstanding personal contributions.

The first awards gala also represented Pipeline & Gas Journal’s return to in-person events, as attendees gathered at The Westin Houston, Memorial City.
“We at PG&J are all extremely pleased and humbled by the tremendous number of nominees put forward by the midstream industry for this inaugural event,” said Mike Reed, Pipeline & Gas Journal’s editor-in-chief. “We look forward to making a tradition of this event for many years to come.”
Winners were honored in 11 categories which encompassed all aspects of the midstream industry, including safety innovation, maintenance and management technology, pipeline integrity, digital transformation, innovative thought and lifetime achievement.
While Best Pipeline Technology was originally one category, because of the large number of nominations and to further recognize achievements in the midstream industry, the advisory board decided that it was necessary to expand it into three new categories.
