17th Annual Pipeline Opportunities Conference Slated for Tuesday

P&GJ Staff Report

Almost 600 pipeline industry professionals are slated to attend the 17th annual Pipeline Opportunities Conference, which will be held virtually this year, and there is still time to register to attend.

There is no cost to register for Tuesday’s event, which is hosted by Pipeline & Gas Journal in partnership with the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) and the SMU Maguire Energy Institute.

The conference will bring together energy executives who represent pipeline operators, associations, service companies, and the federal government.

The event features sessions with numerous presenters including Gary Hines, vice president of operations for the Pipeline Research Council International and Amy Andryszak, president and CEO of INGAA. The speakers will provide unparalleled strategic insight into the state of the pipeline industry.

The virtual event is patterned after a successful virtual version of Pipeline Opportunities Conference – EMEA.

“This year will obviously be different because the conference will be virtual, but we feel confident we’ve lined up the right presenters to help guide midstream back toward better days,” said Pipeline & Gas Journal Editor-in-Chief Michael Reed. “We certainly look forward to welcoming almost 600 of the industry’s leaders and hosting discussion opportunities for the pipeline market.”

Topics industry experts will discuss include global considerations for hydrogen pipeline transportation, coping with COVID ramifications from an operator/contractor point of view, cyber security challenges for natural gas operations, what is in store for mergers and acquisitions and much more.

It is free to register and attend. Registration is open through the day of the event. The event will be on demand afterward and registration will be open for a year.

The conference is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 30. Click here to register.
