Seaway Begins Open Season on Cushing-to-Texas Coast System

HOUSTON – Seaway Crude Oil Pipeline began a binding open season to gauge shipper interest in expanded crude oil capacity on its existing system originating in Cushing, Okla. and extending to the Texas Gulf Coast area.
The open season will continue until 5 p.m. CST on Jan. 21.
The expansion could provide 100,000 bpd of incremental capacity, projected to be available by Feb. 1. The final volume of capacity for committed and uncommitted service, as well as the points of origin and destination, will be determined based on the results of the open season.
Seaway Crude Pipeline Company LLC is a 50/50 joint venture owned by affiliates of Enterprise Products Partners L.P and Enbridge Inc.
