Subsea 7 Awarded Two Offshore Pipeline Contracts

Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded pipeline construction contracts for BP's Alligin subsea development, located approximately 140 kilometers west of the Shetland Islands, and ExxonMobil's Production Uplift Pipeline Projects, located off the coast of Nigeria.  

For BP's Alligin project, Subsea 7 will provide project management, engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for a subsea tie-back to the existing Schiehallion-area infrastructure. Project management and engineering work will commence immediately, with offshore activities scheduled to begin in 2019. 

As part of ExxonMobil's Production Uplift Pipeline Projects, Subsea 7 will provide engineering, construction, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning for 20 km of 24-inch Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) pipeline between the Idoho Platform and the onshore terminal, and 2 km of 24” CRA pipeline between the Edop and Idoho Platforms, along with associated topside modifications and tie-ins at both ends. Engineering and procurement will start immediately, with offshore activities scheduled to occur between Q3 2018 and Q1 2019.
