Williams Awards Nearly $300,000 Through Pipeline Grant Program

Williams has donated $292,834 in funding to thirty-five organizations located in 10 Pennsylvania counties through the company’s semiannual Atlantic Sunrise Community Grant program, originally launched in 2015. As part of the program, the company awarded up to $10,000 in funding to eligible organizations in communities where the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline project will be constructed and operated.
The organizations receiving funding include:
Clinton County
- $10,000.00 to Citizen’s Hose Co. of South Renovo in Clinton County, for an ATV/UTV
- $10,000.00 to Renovo Area Senior Center in Clinton County, for the Renovo Area Senior Center Project
Columbia County
- $3,000.00 to Benton Area School District in Columbia County, for I-Pads for Science and Math Curriculum
- $5,334.00 to Benton Cemetery Association in Columbia County, for Road Resurfacing Project
- $10,000.00 to Bloomsburg Fire Department, Inc. in Columbia County, for a Firefighting Skid Unit
- $10,000.00 to Bloomsburg Volunteer Ambulance Association in Columbia County, for Emergency Medical Technician Classroom Development
- $3,000.00 to Columbia County Traveling Library Authority in Columbia County, for the Bookmobile Means Business Program
- $8,100.00 to Hemlock Township in Columbia County, for Computer Upgrades
- $5,000.00 to the Foundation of the Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce in Columbia County, for Workforce Development Education
- $10,000.00 to Orangeville Area Police in Columbia County, for Equipment Upgrades

- $7,500.00 to Keystone College in Wyoming County, for an Energy Industry Scholarship

- $10,000.00 to Meshoppen Borough Police in Wyoming County, for Police Car Equipment Upgrade
The Atlantic Sunrise grant awards are announced twice a year, in spring and fall. This cycle’s grant dollars were dispersed in the following categories: emergency response ($169,500), education ($59,000) and recreation or community enhancement projects ($64,334).
Grant applications can be completed online at www.atlanticsunriseexpansion.com/community/grant-program. Applications for each cycle must be received by March 1 and Sept. 1, respectively.
