MDU Resources Names New CEO of Pipeline Business
MDU Resources Group, Inc. has named Trevor J. Hastings president and CEO of WBI Holdings Inc., the company’s pipeline and energy services business. His appointment is effective Oct. 16.
“Trevor has been with MDU Resources for 21 years, primarily in leadership and business development roles,” said David L. Goodin, president and CEO of MDU Resources. “He has broad knowledge of our corporation, having held executive positions at a number of our companies, including president of the energy services division at Knife River Corporation. With the help of the strong senior leadership team at WBI Holdings, Trevor will do an excellent job guiding the growth at our pipeline business.”
Hastings joined MDU Resources in 1996 as a regulatory analyst at the company’s utility business. He has held roles of increasing responsibility within MDU Resources’ independent power production business, corporate office and construction materials business. Most recently, Hastings held the position of vice president of business development and operations support at Knife River Corporation. Hastings, a native of Jamestown, North Dakota, earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of North Dakota.
