Pembina, Veresen Merger OK'd by the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta

One day after Veresen’s shareholders approved the company’s merger with Pembina Pipeline Corporation, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta has approved the transaction that will create one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in Canada.
Closing of the transaction remains subject to certain conditions, including certain regulatory and government approvals and other customary closing conditions. Pembina and Veresen expect the transaction will close late in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter of 2017.
