New Mexico PRC Approves Emera Acquisition of TECO Energy

The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (NMPRC) voted unanimously to approve final authorization Emera’s proposed acquisition of TECO Energy and the indirect acquisition of New Mexico Gas Company. (NMGC). Emera awaits the filing of the NMPRC’s written order, which will complete the final required regulatory approval. The transaction is expected to close July 1.
