Denso

Denso unveiled its Comprehensive Viscotaq Tank Base Corrosion Protection System, which provides a durable, moisture-resistant barrier at the tank chime area.

The system offers A quick-drying primer ensures maximum adhesion to the tank chime and concrete base, setting the foundation for optimal system performance and a visco-elastic coating with a paintable backing, among other features. The non-toxic mastic that seals gaps and cracks can withstand high-temperature environments up to 257° F (125° C).

Archco topcoats provide flexible, durable finishes for various temperature ranges. The system’s ability to resist mechanical damage, corrosion and harsh environmental conditions and modular design allows operators to address a range of challenges, from high-temperature applications to chemical exposure, all while enhancing the appearance of protected tanks. www.densona.com

Emerson

Emerson released the PAC Machine Edition (PME) 10.6, the integrated development environment software used to configure and manage control system devices, including PACSystems programmable logic-controllers (PLCs), QuickPanel human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and more.

PME 10.6 incorporates significant improvements for data handling. Enhanced user-defined types (UDTs) now propagate data element descriptions across all application instances, ensuring consistency, while saving configuration time.

End users, systems integrators (SIs), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can easily upgrade to PME 10.6 to access the PACSystems Simulator, enhanced data monitoring, optimized connectivity, and more. These features benefit automation system designers with shortened development time, increased visibility, better consistency, and improved performance. www.emerson.com/en-us

Dekotec

Dekotec GmbH offers Dexpand-CF70,  which repairs damaged sections of steel pipes and restores the structural integrity, returning them to their  original level.

With the carbon composite repair system, the pipeline can be repaired during ongoing operations.

The system can provide savings of about 75% and take about half as long, Dekotec said. It is suitable to repair defects for pipes in which up to 80% of the original wall thickness has been lost. The  system  is  suitable  for  operating  temperatures  of  up  to  70 degrees C (158 degrees F).

Oxford Flow

Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist, is launching two pilots, designed for use in high- and low-pressure environments in response to demand  among gas distribution networks (GDNs).

Designed for use with the company’s hydrogen-ready IM series gas regulators, the pilots will expand the market and offer the GDN operator a solution that can be used throughout its system, with differing pilots in each pressure area.

The PRX2H high-pressure pilot is now ready to be deployed with the PRX2L low-pressure pilot is scheduled for release in early 2024. The new range of pilots includes: PRX2L low pressure reducing pilot (13mbar-1.2 bar); PRX2 pressure reducing pilot (0.5-25 bar); PRX2H high pressure reducing pilot (17-70 bar); and PSX1 pressure sustaining/creep relief pilot (0.5-22 bar). www.oxford-flow.com

LeakVISION

LeakVISION offers an in-pipe leakage detection sensor, mounted to a robot base or push-rod camera system. The system is used to inspect in-pipe features for leakage from joints, connections and other areas.

The system was developed to decrease excavations, which require street work and disruptions. The system’s technology makes use of thermography to analyze and highlight leakage by directly scanning the pipeline and pinpointing the area. This allows teams to make targeted repairs with pin-point accuracy the first time.

The inspection collects large amounts of data, and the related risk model can use site and network data to help manage pipeline risks in a different way to the MRPS that prioritize replacement. The LeakVISION system also comes equipped with a display monitor for live pipe viewing. www.synthotech.com

Pettibone

Pettibone brings its X-Series telehandler lineup to the 15,000-pound lifting class for the first time with the Extendo 1544X. The added load capacity is idea for both construction and pipe yard applications.

The telehandler is powered by a 117-horsepower Cummins QSF 3.8 Tier 4 Final turbo diesel engine. Mounted onto a side pod, the engine offers easy accessibility to components and daily service checks, while still allowing for exceptional curbside visibility and a ground clearance of 19 inches.

The 30-gallon fuel tank provides ample volume for a full day’s work at 100% load. The telehandler comes standard with foam-filled tires. the 1544X offers a maximum lift height of 44 feet, a maximum forward reach of 29 feet, and a maximum load capacity of 15,000 pounds. www.gopettibone.com
