OleumTech

OleumTech offers its electromagnetic flow meter as part of its H Series hardwired process instrumentation line. The OleumTech HEFM Magnetic Flow Meter offers polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining material, a backlit local display interface and various self-diagnostic features for managing critical device health. The HEFM flow meters can be custom-ordered using a variety of line sizes, materials and power options to fit the needs of OleumTech end users. Highlights include independent measurement of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity; two measuring points inside the meter with no moving parts; reference accuracy of ±0.2% of reading; output signal options of RS485 Modbus/4-20 mA/2-8 kHz pulse output; and a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with integral push-button interface. www.oleumtech.com

Honeywell

Honeywell made available two Bluetooth-connected gas detectors that can deliver continuous monitoring for dangerous gases in fog, rain, snow and other inclement weather. The Searchline Excel Plus and Searchline Excel Edge allow devices to stay online in weather conditions with worse visibility and at longer distances than before. The Excel Plus monitors feature short- and mid-range applications from 6 to 393 feet (2 to 120 meters), while the Excel Edge provides long-range perimeter or fence line monitoring from 196 to 1,083 feet (60 to 330 meters).

NDT Global

NDT Global presents its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. Continued advancement in ILI technologies has led to significantly more data to extract and interpret.

Dynatrol

Dynatrol offers the Type CL-10DJI Interface Level Switch, which can detect liquids and bulk solids. It has no moving parts, arrives for simple installation and does not require field adjustments. The level switch is mounted through a ¾-inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection, eliminating costly flanges, float chamber or fittings. The on/off signal from the DJI Interface Detector operates a single pole double throw (SPDT) relay in the EC-501A Control Unit. The relay contacts actuate alarms, indicator lights or process control equipment. The detector is constructed for a long service life with stainless steel and Hastelloy C wetted parts. Specialized units can be used in temperatures exceeding 300 degrees F.

Antaira

Antaira Technologies introduced its LMP-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-24 and LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 Series Light Layer 3 managed series of switches. The IP67-rated switch was designed specifically for industrial applications that are subject to high vibration and shock, water, and dust. It is backed by a five-year warranty. The switches offer 24 to 55 VDC redundant power inputs through a five-pin M12 K-coded male connector. Total power of 240 watts is available for supplying up to 16 IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) devices. Easy to manage, the 16-port 10/100/1,000 Mbps LAN M12 ports offer 148,800 pps for fast packet switching with store and forward technology. The 8-pin M12 CAT6A sockets with X-coding female connectors feature auto-negotiation speeds, full/half-duplex mode and auto-MDI/MDI-X connections.

Denso

Denso North America launched the Denso Bore-Wrap, an abrasion-resistant outer-wrap (ARO) that helps to withstand impact, gouge, abrasion and fracture. Bore-Wrap creates a sacrificial outer laminate layer that protects both pre-approved field joint coatings and mainline coatings (such as liquid epoxy coatings, three-layer polyethylene [3LPE], three-layer polypropylene [3LPP] and fusion-bonded epoxy [FBE] coatings) from damage during pipeline installations, in difficult terrain or by means of trenchless installation methods, such as directional drilling, horizontal direction drilling (HDD) or boring.

The product is easily applied in the field because no mixing is required; it is simply wrapped over the existing pipeline coating and cured with water. Because of its flexibility and exceptional level of mechanical protection, Bore-Wrap minimizes the need for spot repairs or re-pulling pipe from damage. www.densona.com
