Artera Services, a natural gas and electric infrastructure services company, has completed the previously announced acquisition of Otis Eastern Service

Founded in 1936 and acquired by current management in 1981, Wellsville, NY-based Otis Eastern has grown from a wellhead equipment supplier to a constructor of pipelines for midstream and transmission companies throughout the Northeast, as well as gathering systems for producers in the Appalachian Region.

Otis Eastern has a long history of tackling complex and challenging projects, including construction of pipelines up to 42 inches in all types of locations and terrain, including densely populated urban areas and areas with steep grades.

Simmons Energy served as exclusive financial advisor to Artera, and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP provided legal counsel.

Hoffman Southwest Corp., a provider of underground pipe inspection, cleaning, repair and locating services throughout the U.S., announced today that the company changed its name to National Underground Group.

Acquired in 2017 by ORIX Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity group, National Underground Group has expanded through the acquisitions of Tri-State Utilities and Accumark, Inc. Other National Underground divisions include Pipevision and Benchmark.
